Meet the women of Atenco, Mexico.
Many of them are farmers, who successfully defended their land in 2006 when the government wanted to build an airport. Their success came at a high price. Police raped dozens of the women involved in the protests. The women are now working for this wrong to be recognized. They are also acting to gain the freedom of 12 men in their community now serving terms in prison of up to 112 years!
