Urge Iran: Release political prisoners
There are currently more than 800 political prisoners or prisoners of conscience being held behind bars in Iran. Among this group are scores of journalists, activists and women’s rights supporters, including human rights defender Narges Mohammadi and students’ rights activist Bahareh Hedayat, who have been imprisoned for their activism, reporting, and human rights work. It is time to release these unjustly detained women and men!
Take action and urge Iran’s government to release its political prisoners today. Write a letter to Bahareh to show her your support and help put pressure on Iranian authorities to release her from prison.
