Join us for Shifting the Power—A Global Conversation on Funding for a Feminist Future for meaningful conversation about recent trends and challenges in funding for women’s organizations and women’s movements, both domestically and globally. We will assess the current and emerging gaps in funding, and highlight some exciting opportunities to advance a more progressive feminist funding agenda. Network with like-minded individuals and organizations that are seeking to grow the amount of money being invested in feminist organizations and women’s peace and other movements in the Global South.
The Nobel Women’s Initiative and The MATCH International Women’s Fund, in collaboration with Global Affairs Canada, will be hosting the 1.5 hour event on Thursday, March 15, 2018, at the Instituto Cervantes near the UN, during the first week of the Commission for the Status of Women.
